The Seasonal Journal is your invitation to slow down for five days at the turn of each season. Take a few minutes each day to create, explore your own thoughts, get re-acquainted with your writing voice, and remember who you are.
If you’d like to join in, follow me to through the magical portal below. We start journaling on the three days before the solstice or equinox and end on day after the turning of the season.
If you are asking, “Can I invite friends?” The answer is YES. In these noisy, chaotic times, the more people willing to embrace quiet and introspection, the better. In fact, invite everyone.
Why I created The Seasonal Journal:
* So many of us have been taught that to grow-up is to give-up. We give up on all creative pleasures and drop self-expression in favor of self-protection. Why? The Seasonal Journal is designed to help you answer that question for yourself.
* A few years ago, I realized that there are times when the veil lifts between me and the muse, and the most potent time for me is during seasonal transitions. It didn’t seem right to keep this epiphany to myself.
* As a quiet, introspective writer who prefers solitude and silence to the noise of the world, I want to create sanctuary for others like me, especially those of you who have been told that you shouldn’t write because you aren’t good enough or because it’s simply a waste of time. It isn’t.
* Journaling is not only an act of self-exploration, it is a way back to your one, unique voice – your writing voice. More than anything, I want you to hear it. I want you to hear your own voice.
